Aging is a process of slow deterioration, as the cells in the body die and new ones fail to grow. If we eat right, the aging process doesn't have to happen as rapidly as it does. There are ways to keep the body producing new cells, which means, we can literally keep ourselves from aging even though years are passing. People are living longer, due to modern medicine and easy lifestyles, but other factors cause premature aging of the body - smoking, overindulgence in alcohol, drug use, eating bad foods, not drinking enough water, not getting enough sleep, not excercising, living in a constant state of anxiety - so although we live longer, we may be sick during most of the second half of our lives. What if you live to be 100? If you have chronic ailments at age 50, that's 50 more years of sickness to endure. We'll take a look at the kind of diet and lifestyle that prevents aging, and later in our show we'll be joined by chiropractitioner Dr. Solomon Liburd, who will share some body repair and maintenance tips to prevent the aging process.
