We met, we marched, we listened, we applauded, now what? How do we take this moment of the Million Man March 20th anniversary and turn it into a movement? Our guests today, journalist James Muhammad and activist Zakiyya Muhammad discuss the next steps in creating a protective force of 10,000 men to protect and serve the community. Can we develop a private security force using the model of created by the Uber transportation company? Men who agree to serve as a private security force could sign up, and those who wish to summon them for protection can download an App on their phone. If a person is being threatened or intimidated, by a citizen or an out-of-order police officer, the person can  hit the App on their phone, the GPS Identifies where they are, the private security person who is nearby can respond and intervene in their behalf. Just like the Uber service, they would be identified to the caller and the caller would be identified to them. They would be paid through the debit card on file of the person who called. Is this a workable system? How would the men in the private security need to be trained to diffuse violent situations using non-violence? How should they be trained to handle armed police, with the "Blue Klux Klan" mentality? Can they be trained to diffuse those situations also? What is the ultimate action toward people who insist on remaining violent and destructive, despite all attempts to reason with them? Would the Nation of Islam be expected to provide training for all men who participate in this private security force? Would this force make women feel safer on the streets?
