Twenty years ago, men atoned for the wrongs done to their families and pledged to make them right. Twenty years later, many of those same men are still struggling with issues of marriage, childrearing, employment, community involvement, and whatever habits or behaviors they pledged to get rid of in order to be of better service to their communities. Men must step up and take a leadership role in ending this gun violence. But men also need women to do some things to restore dignity and respect to men. What should women do to support those men who are pledging to stand up and make a change?
