Tomorrow is Election Day and in addition to governors and members of congress, citizens will be voting for judges. If you have had to go to court, whether for a traffic ticket, a divorce, a lawsuit over a debt owed, or a criminal charge, you know the power of a judge. They literally control life and liberty. There are a number of judges on the ballot and in Illinois, most judges merely need a "yes" vote to retain their seat. But not all judges should be retained, some have made harmful decisions that hurt the lives of innocent people. We want good, honest, fair judges in the courtroom. Judge James Rhodes, who is running for retention, explains the power of a judge and how citizens can keep track of judges' decisions to determine who should remain...and who needs to be dismissed from the bench
