The absence of trade schools and preparation for jobs by the public schools has been a common complaint for those concerned about the lack of economic opportunities in the inner city. The St. Paul Church of God In Christ has taken on the challenge of providing training and preparation for employment opportunities with a successful Community Development Ministry, and is now challenging those seeking jobs to Step Up to Opportunity!

St. Paul Community Development Ministries (SPCDM) has successfully placed  upwards of 160 individuals into United States Department of Labor approved Apprenticeships and other Related Industriesl SPCDM is recognized for its commitment and ability to train and place people in positions that lead them to success. Elder Kevin A. Ford, Executive Director of SPCDM is seeking those people who are seeking success. In 10 weeks, SPCDM will prepare you to pass USDOL apprenticeship examinations and interview with confidence. Upon successful completion, you will be highly qualified and motivated to enter any United States Department of Labor Apprenticeship.

SPCDM provides financial assistance with Apprenticesip Examination fees, travel and lunch expenses. If you're looking for a solid career with the Department of Labor, this is an opportunity you don't want to miss! Orientation sessions are September 10th through September 17th in Chicago, from 8am to 12pm.
