On April 15, 2014, members of the religious extremist group Boko Haram (whose name means "Western Education Is Sinful") raided a schoolhouse in Borno, Nigeria and abducted 234 girls. The kidnapping has provoked worldwide outrage. Members of Boko Haram have made public a video in which they bragged that the girls were now their slaves and they intend to sell them. Women around the world have staged protests and even U.S. First Lady Michelle Obama spoke out against this barbaric act. Many have voiced frustrations that government officials are not doing enough. Princess Adenike Akorede, Publisher, Editor in Chief and CEO of Shekinah International Magazine, explains how she is organizing protest rallies and mobilizing the Nigerian community in the U.S. to join with protesters around the world in a campaign to "Bring Back Our Girls!"
