Have we created a society where people are so afraid of breaking up that they never quite decide to get together? In chapter 3 of the book The Female Solution entitled "The Skill of the Sparrow" we discuss the ways birds choose a mate, and many species of birds mate for life. What are they doing right that human beings have forgotten how to do? Marriages often fall apart because of these top two issues: Sex and Money. So many adults today have grown up in broken families that they feel that as long as they remain uncommitted they will avoid gettting involved in  relationship and discovering their partner has been unfaithful - the common issue surrounding "sex." Or they remain uncommitted because they feel that they can't afford a spouse and don't want to be criticized for not having enough "money." So how are we going to rebuild a culture of family when adult men and women produce children together but cannot make a commitment and secure a stronger foundation for the children they have created together? Relationship experts Mark Shahid and Natalie Willis discuss how to rebuild trust between men and women in order to work toward the intention of a lifelong commitment.
