What would happen if they had a war and nobody came? As government leaders discuss military strategies against other countries, young people, who are usually the ones called to arms, are organizing around the world to establish peace. Today's youth have made a decision to change the way the world operates, and their decision is the decision that matters. They are choosing not to kill their neighbors for the selfish gains of a wealthy elite class. In our first hour, Zehra Pakistan Javed joins us live from Islamabad, Pakistan, to discuss the global efforts to build bridges of friendship among youth in order to have a friendlier world tomorrow. In our second hour, Reverend Katrese Kirk Watson of R.A.G.E. (Revealing A Generation of Excellence) discusses the global efforts to free Marissa Alexander, sentenced to 20 years in Prison in Jacksonville Florida for firing a warning shot in the ceiling to discourage another violent attack from her husband. Now Jacksonville Florida States Attorney Angela Corey is threatening to push for a 60 year sentence for Marissa Alexander, and women are organizing across the country to stop this travesty of justice.
