Obesity is a growing problem and many recognize the reason as poor diet, with fast foods often containing high sugar content and low nutritional value, causing people to overeat in an attempt to get the vitamins their bodies crave. In an effort to lose weight, some may try diet pills, or even in radical cases, surgery to decrease stomach size. But what about if the eating disorder stems from emotional issues? Food is often an addiction, just as cigarettes, alcohol, or drugs, used as a means to compensate feelings of lonliness and the absence of love.
