As the world celebrates the life of former South African President Nelson Mandela, thoughts go back to the many freedom fighters who lost their lives in the struggle for social justice. Has the world gone through a transformation over the past 50 years? Has political power changed hands as a result of gaining the right to vote? Have the evils of racial oppression been eradicated from our society? Or are today's powerful voices for social justice still in danger of assassination? December 4, 1969 marked the anniversary of the slaying of Black Panther Leaders Fred Hampton And Mark Clark. Bill Hampton, brother of slain Black panther Fred Hampton, discusses his book "The Assassination of Fred Hampton."
