How long after a spouse's death should you wait to date?

We state in our marriage vows "Til Death Do We Part." Well, what happens after your spouse does indeed "die?" You have fulfilled your agreement,you're free to continue your life. How long should you wait before seeking another life partner, another spouse? Should you consider the feelings of children or other relatives? How long do you expect to grieve? Is there a minimum time to wait? Some people never remarry, feeling that they can never bond with another person again. Is this emotionally healthy? Is it spiritually correct? How should you decide when to remarry after a spouse's death?
