Across the nation, families mourn the loss of their children due to horrific gun violence, and despite marches and rallies, the killiings continue. We are the mothers of the children who kill. What can we do to change the hearts of those who have gone astray and are acting out their frustration, rage, and hopelessness by shooting down those they perceive as enemies? Women of faith believe the answer is not in power of police but in the power of prayer. One Chicago pastor, Deborah Goosby, demonstrates that faith, with works, is what works.
