The most influencial voices that young people listen to are the voices of their own peers.  Through his lyrics, twelve year old spoken word artist  "Lil'Hommy" expresses the feelings of a generation that has been misunderstood, ignored, brutalized, and crimiinalized. He explains what inspires him to write and speak and gives an insight on those who have chosen to express their frustration in more destructive ways.  He talks about the influences in his life and how his parents' support and encouragement have helped him and his siblings use their talents for positive self expression.  He shares some of his spoken word pieces with the audience and encourages those who are parents to see the genius in their own children.
