Are Interracial Marriages Still Under Attack?

On the anniversary of the birth of Martin Luther King, Jr., we take a look at progress made in the area of interracial  relationships. It used to be against the law for blacks and whites to marry, and later, although it was legally permitted, interracial marriages were highly disapproved of by family members who still had racial prejudice. How do you feel about your son or daughter marrying someone of another "race"? Does it even matter anymore? Would you marry outside of your "race"? Could you marry someone of another "race" even if members of their family were racially prejudiced? If your spouse was not of your cultural or religious group, would they still be accepted by your family? Have we really evolved to a "color blind" society where people are judged "not by the color of their skin but by the content of their character"? Or do we still have a long way to go?
