The effects of the trade war would hurt American farmers trading with China with products like soy beans. China would also suffer by not being able to buy a variety of nuts from California which exports millions to the Asian country. Minnesota farmers would lose 75 million a year in exports.  "Made in China" products having increased tariffs would hurt America more.  Why?  American companies own many of the Chinese factories.  Chinese own 30% control of their labor, 70% are American owned.  American companies would have to seek low cost labor elsewhere and it would be expensive to relocate.  90% of American household supplies would see an increase in prices.  The idea that America could rebuild certain manufacturing plants would take years yet the cost of increase is immediate on the American economy.  China could use the option to explore other foreign markets.  They are already developing more efficient economies in Africa.  We are also in debt to China and Trump has forgot about that aspect of obligation
