The Last stance of Baba Amr, Syria - militia defectors

Tonight, I will discuss the region in Syria named Homs and Baba Amr who once had autonomy over Syrian army along with the courage to publicly denounce Bashar al Assad.  Militia men defected when they refused to kill protesters as commanded by the Syrian regime.  They took over a region called Baba Amr and held it for several years from 2012-2013.  Later on, Homs was literally wiped out.

We also discuss different types of media projection and what news sources are trustworthy vs. slanted.

Danny Abdul Dayem skyped from his home in Homs and brought worldwide attention to what was really going on in Syria.
