Inspirational writer and sacred activist Susan Larison Danz will spontaneously discuss her heartfelt perspectives on Freedom of Religion and the Tea Party movement, from the standpoint of someone who came from a conservative background and understands multiple points of view, even while currently embracing some more liberal philosophies. People may talk of liberty all day long (and Susan has heard the talk), but if true freedom of religion is not one of those liberties, if only one religion is considered paramount in government and society, if it's considered perfectly fine for government to intervene in matters deemed by some to be incompatible with that particular religion, then what does this have to do with liberty? Susan has been listening closely to multiple perspectives recently, including Fox News and Glenn Beck. She will provide some insights into the challenges we face in a pluralistic society in understanding and respecting the spiritual viewpoints of others. Susan is not currently affiliated with any political party. She voted for George W. Bush (in his initial run, not the second time) and Barack Obama.
