We try to look out for the people who we care about. We try to protect them, and we try to defend them. Some people make it hard for us when they act a fool, speak out of turn, or get into trouble all the time. Is it hard for you to speak up for someone who you totally disagree with? Some people can. Some people can't. What about when you know that someone lies a lot ? Can you, or could you defend a liar that you are close to? What about someone who is a criminal?
