Who would do something like this? You would be surprised at some of the things that people will do to hold on to a part of someone who they were once in love with. The question becomes whether they were in love, or are they still in love with that person? Naming a child after an ex is probably not the best way to get that person out of your system. It's probably not the best way to show your current love that you are totally dedicated to them and that your love is uncontested. Is there any way that this can be an innocent act? Could a name be so appealing to you that you would name him/her after an ex? Could someone name their child after an ex and somehow be totally over that person? Is there any way to live this down?
