You may have endured what it was like the 1st time, or the times when you have dated someone who was significantly younger, or older than you were. If you were a minor and tried to introduce a twenty-something year old to your parents, it may not have gone well. What if it did go well? If YOU were the twenty-something year old and you brought a minor home with you to meet your parents, would it be okay? If her parents were okay with it, would it send a stronger message to you of confirmation? Sometimes the things that we decide for ourselves are a lot different from the decisions that we would accept for our kids. When it comes to our kids, sometimes the laws of the state, as well as the laws of nature come into play. Can we talk about this?
