Have you ever heard a person complain about a problem with a situation that you were close to and had knowledge of, but weren't a participant and didn't know that people would be affected. It's probably not good for you to take the stand in a trial, because you would have to tell the truth about what you know happened. It could get some people in trouble. In a situation where you were intimately involved, even though you may not have been an actor in a plot, taking the stand could implicate and incriminate yourself. When you're guilty, it might be a good idea to avoid the law and possibly be on the run. Trouble is trouble, but let's see where we fall in this.
