Sometimes you're on the fence about whether you want to be in a relationship, at a job, in a house, in a club, etc. It's not always an easy decision to make, when the living, or existing conditions aren't what you want to be a part of. You may hate the place, but like the people, or vice versa. The thing about it is that when you play the game of being in and out, other people who want you to be in have a hard time being comfortable with you. You begin to seem unreliable to them. They don't know if they can trust you, because they don't know if you're going to be there. There can be a loyalty issue.
