Maybe you always wanted to be a certain height. That's one of those things that even surgery can't fix. At least there's no surgery that I know of that can change that. Anyway, most of us have to live with what height that we are. There are a lot of things that are that cemented in life. We talk about settling for things like it's taking one for the team with the ugly blind date chick. Many times the 1st option of things that we want is either too expensive, or unreachable. Does it mean that what you had to choose was a terrible choice? Anyone who has gone to a store where what they wanted was sold out understands this. Anyone who has missed a sold out concert understands this. How do we know how useful and popular the instead of has been over the years? There's no way that we can know, unless someone admits it.
