What is it about a person that will make them stick to their lying ass story, no matter how ridiculous it sounds, or how caught in the lie they are? Have you ever stuck to a story, even though it was a bad story? Did you have to ride it out for some reason? Were there consequences for if you told the truth? Would you go to jail to prevent the truth from coming out? Think about the most prolific liar you have ever known. Were they passionate about their lying, or did they try to convince you that they were telling the truth, no matter what? This is something worth talking about.
