When the helpless who have financial means turn over their estate affairs to the greedy, who suffers worse? The sick person, or their loved ones who are powerless to reverse the situation?

It could be your parents, or your siblings, or your uncles and aunts, your cousins, godparents, neighbors, or it could be you who needs to trust someone in your time of physical or mental weakness.

We all have to trust someone at some time, but what happens when the one we have entrusted to our financial affairs are the very ones who are the predators?

Many of us have seen this play out and we may have seen it get bad. How bad can it get though?

Is it worse while the people are alive, or is it worse when they die?

Neglect, abuse and irresponsibility can all come into play with this situation and it can get really ugly. How ugly can it get? Let's see.
