Mabe your parents drank or smoke too much.

Maybe your parents had too many children thatthey couldn't provide for.

Maybe your parents were irresponsible with money or reckless with their health.

Maybe your parents your parents were rude and obnoxious.

Maybe your parents were liars, or they were thieves.

Maybe your parents allowed people to walk all over them.

Maybe your parents were abusive.
