The internet can be a crazy place. A place of dreams and hopes. A place where people can meet. A place that lacks trust in many ways.
One of the reasons that people don't trust the internet is because so many people are able to trick people into believing that they are something that they are not.
You have people who never reveal their true identity online for whatever reason. How is it that some people never use a profile picture of their likeness? Are they ashamed of how they look? Are they remaining secret so that they can be nosey with other people while never letting people be nosey with them?
What about people who create fake pages? What's that all about? WHat's their true motive?
What's the safety level of all these things?
Sex offenders and pedophiles often hide who they really are when they're online don't they?
Can their be any really good reasons that people would have for hiding themselves or their identity online?
