Even with teenage pregnancy being much lower than it was in the 70's, 80's and the 90's, it still exists. It's still turns people's heads when you see someone that looks like they could be someone else's baby either carrying a baby, or pushing a baby carriage with their own baby in it. It can make you wonder what happened, even though you know the logistics of the process. You may wonder how a teen could be pregnant with all of the birth control that is available to them that they don't need their parent's permission to get. Also, there is so much education and information about the risks of unprotected sex, that it would seem like that would be the last thing that would happen in a young person's life. I guess that the more things change, the more things stay the same huh?

What would you do if your child came to you to tell you that they had unprotected sex recently and that they wanted you to help them get the Plan B Pill which is a high concentrated birth control pill that will terminate a pregnancy if you take it within 72 hours after having unprotected sex.

Would you get it for them?

Would you tell them to suffer the consequences?

Would you take them to see a doctor 1st?

Would you be supportive of them no matter how things turned out?

Would it freak you out to find out that your child is having sex in the 1st place?

Would it matter if it's a girl or a boy?

If things turned out okay, how would you handle things going forward?

These questions and more are what we're gonna tackle this Wednesday. This is real life, regardless of how much we hope that it never becomes our own lives.

Let's get into it.
