Making Him Soft. Turning Her Loose. Urban Therapy with Sun #184

We all know that parenting is challenging. We hope for the best for our kids and most of us try to our best to ensure that their future will be bright, safe and long lasting. What happens when it looks like the wheels are coming off? What happens when the plans that we have laid for our kids seems to be falling apart? What happens when the path to success that we have laid out for our kids seems to be in jeopardy because we don't see them doing what we think that they should be doing?

Let's be more specific.

Are parents to blame if a son is soft, won't stand up for himself and acts a little gay? What do you think? Have someparents turned their sons into punks by too much spoiling and coddling and excusing certain behaviors?

Are parents to blame if their daughters become promiscuous? Too sexy at a young age? Too sexually free?

Have we set our guirls on a road to ruin by allowing them to dress in certain ways, or by giving them too much freedom? What about exposing our girls to too much "Grown" stuff?
