Legacy of A Nation Do You Know What Meritorious Manumission Is/Was?

.Created and Codified white values in Black minds and was meant to re-enslave and to prevent the existing free Black population from growing by instigating measure to decline manumission of the
Black population that sought either to purchase there own freedom or the freedom of a relative. Meritorious Manumission was the legal act of freeing an enslaved Black person who distinguished himself for a good deed by saving:

1) Saving a white’s life,
2) Protecting a white’s property
3) Inventing something from which a white could profit and
4) Snitching on fellow Blacks plans of revolt against white control.

The last was the most destructive weapon used against Black people in the white en-slaver arsenal, and a powerful component of control under the present system.
