I'm pretty sure that by now you've grown tired of seeing our young Black men running around with their pants hanging down with their sneakers untied looking like they slept in their clothes. It probably makes you cringe when you hear our young men speaking as though they have never heard of proper English, acting as if they have no manners and showing very little respect for their elders or their peers. You probably have wondered what is going to become of their future when you see young men with tattoos everywhere including faces and some of them entering the criminal justice system at alarming young ages.
This young generation really does appear to be headed for a lot of trouble and it can leave you wondering: Why aren't their any youth mentoring programs to show these young men the way to be and the way to go the way grown folks used to? Well there is one that is doing some extraordinary things with our young Black men that is already restoring our confidence in them, our belief in them, our faith and expectations of them.

The Elite Gentlemen Club (EGC) based in Atlanta, GA has developed a youth mentoring club that is revolutionizing the way that we train our young brothers for the future. They are teaching them the way to dress, the way to speak, the proper way to conduct themselves in public and in private. They are showing them the value of achieving academic excellence in school and showing them how far in life that that can take them. They are showing them the way to become entrepreneurs by exposing them to successful movers and shakers in various industries and showing them the way to approach those people by training them with impeccable interpersonal skills.

We will be talking to the founders and organizers of the EGC and giving a detailed explanation of what they are doing and letting you know what you can do to get involved.
