Yeah, ain't never had nothing. Some people use this as a reason to spend money like there's no tomorrow on stuff they don't really need while others use it as an excuse to put others down who don't have what they now have.

Growing up without having lots of material things has the potential to bring out the worst in some folks. For a select few it can propel people to help others that are in need. But the negative more obnoxious side oftem seems to take center stage. One of the biggest pitfalls of growing up being broke is that it has the potential to really cloud your perspective about what should be important in life which are often things that don't involve money.

Money runs so much of our society that many ambitious people can't see past it and when you mix that with the fact that a person may be trying to compensate for not being able to keep up withthe Jones' while growing up and you can have a recipe for disaster.
