We know that the police ar supposed to protect and serve their community but how often do those in the communities feel protected and served by them? Hardly a week passes without seeing or hearing about blatant abuse at the hands of our sworn officers on our evening news programs. How well are these incidents reported and are they representative of the overall percentage or is it much worse than we may be aware of? Could it be that the reports of these allegations are inflated and that the police forces in question are actually less corrupt than what is visible? Have a few bad apples spoiled the bunch in some way?

We cannot discount the fact that police work can be very dangerous where there are lives being put on the line daily. How much does this affect the way situations are handled in the line of duty? How does the emotional mentality hold up after the day to day events of negativity? Should they get a pass for that?

How come there seems to be such a disparity in the way that affluent neighborhoods view their police force vs. those who live in lower income neighborhoods? Are cops less corrupt where there is less crime? If that is true then is it crime itself that turns cops into potential criminals?

Join us this evening as we break down the of our police and let's see if there may be some alternatives to our local police and police policies.
