I am under the belief that  a healthy relationship is one that makes you feel good emotionally and physically however the evidence shows that many people sacrifice one or the other. What could be the reason for this? How strong is the influence of our upbringing in determining the kind of person that we choose to be with romantically? If you are exposed to relationships where infidelity was tolerated would you follow that example or be accepting of it? Can a relationship of that kind be healthy to some people?

Domestic violence is an issue that affects between 22-25% of American women in their lifetime with the belief that most incidences happen in lower income households. Do you believe this to be true? Doyou know of any men that have been physically abused? Whether or not the statistics are accurate doesn't underscore the fact that it can be stressful to to listen to all of the violent news reports on t.v. and then have to be afraid of the potential violence in your own home

Normally people who are victims of domestic violence sympathize with the abuser and remain in relationships longer than what is healthy physically. Some people beat on each other and have sex afterwards. Is that healthy?

Some couples cuss each other out on a regular basis. Can that be healthy?
