When it comes to parenting, it seems like most decisions that are made are unpopular with our kids. Letting children run the show usually comes back to bite us in the ass at some point.

Many of us succumb to peer pressure when we're growing up because we think we will lose our dear friends if we don't and that is probably true. However, how many times have we secretly admired the one friend who said no, I don't think that's a good idea?
