Celebrating Islamic Marriages: 25 to 60 Years-Plus. Marriage is 1/2 of Your Deen

Allah says in Sura (Chapter) 24, Ayat (Verse) 32, "Marry those among you who are single, or the virtuous ones among yourselves, male or female: if they are in poverty, Allah will give them means out of His grace: for Allah encompasseth all, and he knoweth all things."

Within our Muslim American communities we have very many examples of long lasting marriages; husbands and wives who have endured in unison for multipple decades.

What can we learn from these couples? What advice to they have for newly weds or to thos aspiring towards marriage?
