Today we will play two lectures of Imam Qasim Ahmed who gave his life to promoting Al-Islam at every possible venue any time of the day to whoever who engage him in conversation – all for the advancement of human excellence.

He was a serious student of Al-Qur’an as well as a student of Imam W. Deen Mohammed. The Janazah (Islamic funeral) of Imam Qasim Ahmed is being held today in Houston, TX. We pray that Allah grant Imam Imam Qasim Ahmed forgiveness for all of his sins; that Allah make his transition from this life to the next life easy. We pray the Allah raise Imam Qasim Ahmed amongst the Believers on Judgment Day and that Allah give his family peace and understanding.

Imam Qasim Ahmed passed during the blessed month Ramadan. According t Hadith we get the following message:

Imam Ahmed narrates in his compilation of Hadith that the messenger of Allah (prayers and peace be upon him) said, “Whoever professes La ilaha illah (there is no god besides Allah) seeking the pleasure of Allah and happens to pass away in that state, he will enter paradise. Whoever fasts a day seeking the pleasure of Allah and happens to pass away in that state, he will enter paradise.”
