Last Sunday May 19th would have marked Malcolm’s 94th birthday so on today’s (May 26th) program we want to lift up our brother by trying to learn much more about Malcolm as the individual, the man, the human being who was a father and a husband in addition to being an Islamic community leader.

WORDS MAKE PEOPLE will have a guest panel of individuals, sisters and brothers who personally knew Brother Malcolm. Yes, some of his close acquaintances from Detroit and New York such as Sister Marlene Jenkins, Linda El-Amin and others.

We will discuss who is the real Malcolm compared to the image that the media made of him and the image that various social and cultural groups have attempted to portray of Brother Malcolm.
