Join WORDS MAKE PEOPLE (WMP) on Sunday February 11, 2018 from 1-3 p.m. EST as we discuss "DO FOR SELF -- The Importance of Saviors' Day!"

The Islamic African American experience has witnessed an evolution of Saviors' Day through myriad expressions and even changes (evolutions) in its spellings and possessions.

Today on WMP we will discuss the steps of evolution that Saviors' Day has given to the development of African American Muslims as we journeyed from "Islam" to "Al-Islam"; as we grew from "Nation of Islam" to Universal Islam!

Many African Americans who converted from Christianity and its Caucasian "savior" joined the NOI and they exchanged the Caucasian "savior" for a new "savior/saviour" named W.D. Fard Muhammad.

Since 1975 both Imam W. Deen Mohammed and Minister Louis Farrakhan evolved the concepts and spellings of "Savior/Saviour Day).
