A Muslim’s message to Trump, Cruz and Carson

We have plenty of support from our interfaith friends as indicated by the picture of the “We Stand With AMERICAN MUSLIMS” yard signs created by Shoulder to Shoulder in Interfaith Witness. We too, as Muslims, must do our share in protecting our children and families from the insensitive and inaccurate statements made by presidential candidates and other leaders in our American Society.

Here is a quote from my article that we plan to discuss this Sunday April 3, 2016, “Our Muslim children still have to attend school and play with their friends but now under the weightiness of anti-Muslim rhetoric coming from Trump, Cruz and Carson; which behooves the question directed to Ben Carson: How in the world – after slavery and Jim Crowism – can any African-American speak out against another innocent minority who is seeking their share of America?”
