The Bible on Trial~

In our world today prejudice has become a dirty word, because it is based on the preconceived idea that personal opinion about an issue or person is true, even though that opinion is not based upon reason, experience, or actual fact. 

In a significant number of cases prejudice exists because of a generational understanding of how the world works, handed down from parents to children (ad infinitum) such that these prejudices have become a staple identity that simply "is what it is", no explanation needed. These generational prejudices are so insidious and common (especially related to ethnicity) that the practitioners of those prejudices no longer realize that they have them.

Prejudice is especially virulent in the world of religion. Countless wars, and millions of deaths can be laid at the feet of religious ideologies that are held as "Divine Truth" by those that adhear rabidly to the practices of those religions, even though they don't know either the source or history of those practices. This is especially true in the world of Christianity, where beliefs are based not on the first hand knowledge and understanding of the true source from which those concepts and practices came, but on second or third hand testimony of people that never had eyewitnes knowledge of the source of basis for the practice of Christianity as the world knows it today.

So when people are exposed to the TRUE SOURCE, as they were in the days when Jesus was here on earth 'in the flesh', they will refuse to acknowledge that what they now believe to be truth IS NOT! Christians have been so inculcated into the understanding and operations of "The Church" that they don't realize that they are "believing a lie as if it is the Truth", so much so that they refuse to acknowledge the truth when it if presented.

Prejudice and Truth cannot co-exist.
