When Are We~

"Are we there yet?" Those of us that have children have heard this phrase time and again when we have been on road trips, or even short trips to the market. I find it interesting that this phrase, in this form, in these exact words, in every language, come from children that have not had any exposure to those words in any other context. Most children, especially small children, have a low 'patience' threshold, and don't understand delay. They want what they want, and they want it 'right now', not sometime in the future.

This is also the same for people that 'study' biblical end-time prophecy, especially those that have a favorite expositor that says what they want to hear.  They listen to the words of this person, and because the have a 'child-like' faith they trust that this person is in fact sent from God, so that they can feel good about where they see themselve in the grand scheme of things. They don't want to be left out, or left behind, or have to do any hard work in learning and understanding the truth about the plans God has for them. They want to believe by a simple, uncomplicated method/faith that someone else has figured out for them, not realizing that God does not work that way when dealing with TRUTH.

Even when they are shown the Truth about "When" they are in time, it still takes dilligent work and research to aquire the knowledge and wisdom that is needed to get a true picture.

And then, when they have achieved a consistent and logical understanding of how prophecy works, someone comes along and tells them that the picture they now see is not what they believe it ot be. That is what has now happened, and why what Rick and the Spirit of Truth Ministry team is revealing on our programs a here-to-fore unseen time-line is so important in knowing WHEN we are prophecy, and what the future holds.
