What do you believe that is 'immoderate"? I consistently hear people speak of 'moderation' in a particular religion or philosophy, and I wonder how this idea of 'moderation in all things' affects their concept of TRUTH. Is their such a thing as a 'moderate' religion, and if so, how does it manifest itself in the practitioner? Does moderation cross cultural and spiritual lines, or is moderation "in the eye of the beholder"?

What people 'believe' to be true is often based not on facts but on faith, that can be described as "allowing a person to believe a lie as if it is the truth, without accountability" (Rick Sterling). And IF this is true then how can a person KNOW FOR SURE that what they believe is the "God's honest truth", or simply something that came our of the mind of mankind?

We at Spirit of Truth Ministry have defined truth as "singular and absolute", as is confirmed by the Law and the Prophets in the Old Testament, and are confirmed by the words of Jesus that He gave His own eyewitness disciples found in the New Testament; and there in NO OTHER Truth but that. This gives us a basis for our belief that is outside of ourselves, and that is NOT based on faith. This concept makes finding truth much more sure, and satisfies the desire that we have to "Know the Truth, and the truth will make you free" (John 8:32).
