Christians are constantly taught from the pulpit that 'belief is the key to the Kingdom'. They are also taught that 'faith confirms their belief'. These are EASY beliefs that require no reasoning to acquire, and there is no need to put those beliefs into practice. In fact, Christians are taught that DOING anything that will try to affect your salvation will only get in the way of the 'free gift' of salvation that is provided you through the blood of Jesus on the cross. Yet there is nothing in these statements that indicates just WHAT those beliefs are or need to be, or any qualification for that belief to act toward salvation.

A key statement here at Spirit of Truth Ministry is this: "Faith allows a person to believe a lie as if it is the truth, without accoutability".

In other words, it matters greatly WHAT you believe, and also that you will be held accountable for that belief in the judgment. The idea that ANY belief in ANYTHING or ANYONE will bring you to salvation is anathema to what Jesus Christ taught to His own disciples while He was here on earth.
