Disappointment. We have all experienced it from time to time. it even seems to happen on a daily basis, more often than not. Disappointment is the main cause of feeling 'down' (for most of us), because our expectations of others and ourselves overpower our ability to look past our own faults or the faults of our loved ones, until all we can see in our lives is unfulfilled hopes and dreams.

When this happens how can we cope with life? How can we 'move on', and get over ourselves and our own problems? It is NOT easy to do, because our modern society has programed us to constantly think about what is best for 'us', and not others, which leads to an understandable reticence to view life and the world with a broad perspective.

To acquire this viewpoint we must have a reason for being (raison d'etre) that is larger and more compelling than just our insular, parochial lives. It is for THIS reason that Jesus came to the earth, "To Testify to the Truth" (John 18:37). And by our learning to do this same thing, using His words and teachings, and by becoming part of something that is more important than even our own lives, that we will find a satisfaction and fulfillment that can (with time) replace our disappointments.

Join us for a unique and challenging time of preparation where we learn how to turn our disappointments into opportunities to advance the Kingdom of the Heavens here on earth.
