Just because you BELIEVE in something does not make what you believe true. We can believe ANYTHING we want; truth has nothing to do with belief. This is true in all aspects of life; politics, education, health, relationships, food, all have individual belief systems that defines how a person believes unique and personal to them. This identity of belief has been used to great effect in Christianity with the idea that WHAT you believe does not matter nearly as much as THAT you believe, as long as that belief is in an individual and personal God and Savior. YOU decide what YOU want to believe in regarding HOW you are saved, and this belief does not have to have any connection with what anyone else believes, because they are saved by their own individual belief as well.

It this IDENTITY OF BELIEF true? It is, if you simply believe it is true. But IF it is NOT TRUE, what does this do to the FACT of your own salvation? If you have any thoughts that your Identity of Belief might not be God defines how your are saved then maybe it would be a good idea to find out whether HOW you believe in WHAT you believe is true. Join the Spirit of Truth Ministry team as we investigate the truth about the Identity of Belief.
