The Gap Band was an American R&B and funk band 

Raymond James Calhoun has spent over 36 years in the music industry touring and recording with numerous recording artists. Raymond was born and raised in Washington D.C. and he spent his formative years in education at UDC and Howard University as a music major student. While working his way through school Raymond's first professional break came in 1976 working with the legendary recording group The Manhattans. Following his two-year stint with The Manhattan's Raymond joined Peaches and Herb for a little more then one year before joining the legendary Gap Band where he spent more than 33 years of his professional career. Most recently Raymond has toured and worked with his close friend Tito Jackson of the legendary Jackson 5.

Raymond is a drummer, producer, songwriter and bandleader. The following discography details just some of his accomplishments as songwriter/producer, drums/percussion, keyboards, vocals:
