As Halloween approaches, we turn to the supernatural. This week, we discuss the concept of the gates of Hell.

We show you a couple of locations rumored to be gateways to the netherworld, including the Darvaza gas crater in Turkmenistan and a town in Pennsylvania that was evacuated because of an underground fire that’s been burning since 1962.

Then we turn our attention to the ancient world and a pair of sites we visited last year on the SkyWatchTV Israel tour: Panias, otherwise known as the Grotto of Pan, and Gilgal Refaim. The bottom line is this: The gates to the underworld are closed, and they won’t be opened until Jesus Christ, who holds the keys to Death and Hades, allows the abyss to be opened.
