Hello everyone, I am Leonna Abraham Brandao, Host for Blog Talk Radio/ Shedding Light. We've been honored to have on with us every Thursday for the past several weeks, a young man Thomas Dormer,  who served four years in prison from the age of nineteen to twenty-three, for one unfortunate mistake and who is now 27 years old. Thomas has been educating us further on the ineffectiveness of prisons and discussing alternatives to incarceration in a penal system which only worsens the prison population of incarcerated individuals who have made a mistake or mistakes in their lives. Thomas' goals to become a Professional Soccer Player from the age of seven years, was put on  hold when he made that one unfortunate mistake. However, he is once again, pursuing that goal with a possible additional goal of working with the youth in an effort to prevent other adolescents from following that path of school to prison pipeline.  I would like to have Thomas again, mention all the good things he did, prior to that one mistake, the cause of his downfall and the experiences while in prison, to demonstrate why many prisoners are not rehabilitated and why Prison Reform is so important during these critical times.  Please welcome Thomas Dormer.
