In this episode we will be discussing the alternative "Replacing Prisons With Long-Term Residential Treatment Programs" for successful treatment and releases of the mass incarcerated. Prisons are being kept full as a result of the billions of taxpayers dollars the Criminal Justice System receives for each individual they house throughout the country. It has gotten to the point that prisoners are being forced to double cell. They are packed in many prisons and the taxpayers' dollars are increasingly being wasted to house prisoners in an environment that is simply not working. Establishing Long-Term Residential Facilities to treat prisoners in a Therapeutic and Healing Environment is obviously going to be much more effective than to maintain them in a penal system which has shown to be inadequate, chaotic, dysfunctional and abusive. We will explore options and bring awareness of some of the most serious problems most prisoners experience while caged, behind bars and helpless.
